Dr. Janice Kalina is a native Oregonian where she attended Lincoln High School as a teenager and University of Oregon receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Kalina received her dental education at New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan. Dr. Kalina is a member of numerous dental academies and associations. As a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, Dr. Kalina holds a Standard Proficiency certification in lasers. She is continually expanding her dental education by attending study clubs and educational seminars.

In addition to working as a dentist, Dr. Kalina has taken a teaching position at Carrington Hygiene College as the Dental Director.  She enjoys supervising and instructing clinical dentistry to the upcoming hygienist on their career path.  Dr. Kalina enjoys the combination of bringing in fresh and current topics to the students, as well as being challenged by keeping up with the very latest dental educational teaching and information.

Dr. Kalina is married and has two boys ages 15 month and 5 years old.  She lives locally in Tigard, OR and has lived in this area for the past 10 year.  Dr. Kalina is looking forward to serving the local community at Bull Mountain Dental Images.
